Another jam-packed day at the United Fresh Washington Policy Conference

It was another jam-packed day at the United Fresh 2019 Washington Policy conference yesterday in Washington DC!

The March on Capitol Hill: U.S. House of Representatives Meetings was held after lunch whereby Claire had a wonderful opportunity of meeting the elected officials and their staff. Delegates had the opportunity to discuss critical issues to their business and share their personal testimony of how actions taken in Washington directly affect them, the community and the produce industry overall. Immigration, trade and children’s nutrition were top of the agenda.
