eLOT Notice - Ready for Implementation

Prophet SA has completed the development of the eLOT Notice module and is now ready for implementation.

The official go-live date is 1 April with an onboarding period granted for the remainder of April to allow clients to adjust to the new process.  Please contact our Product Specialist team at support@prophetize.co.za for any questions relating to the implementation of the eLOT Notice.

The eLOT Notice was included for two main purposes. Firstly, the eLOT Notice is a means for trade unit data to be inserted into the Trade Unit Register (TUR). Secondly, once the data is received by the TUR the process of pre-verification can take place to ensure the product has met the requirements (up to that point) to be able to be considered for certification. The objective is to prevent defective products from entering the supply chain right at the start of the supply chain.  The decision on when to actually submit the data depends on the client but must be before PPECB quality inspections.
