Ambition as big as Texas

Paul Stofberg (CEO – North America), recently visited Lone Star Citrus in Mission, Texas for their annual pre-season visit and an exciting meeting with Lone Star’s TJ and April Flowers together with Video Producer, Phil Tripoli.

Says TJ Flowers, “After an exceptionally long off-season as a result of the Valentine's Day freeze of 2021, restarting processing and packing was surprisingly simple thanks to Paul's in-house assistance.”

Video Producer, Phil Tripoli, spent time with TJ and April Flowers and left their meeting with perspective of admiration: “TJ and April are hustlers at the top of their game - Full Stop. Being part of a family going back four generations in the produce industry, I can see their passion, attention to the product and care for the customer. They have endured a generational freeze in Texas amidst the Covid-19 Pandemic and have leveraged the PR3 ERP to create new revenue streams during a challenging time and are now emerging from a bad situation with two businesses putting them back on top. I admire their work ethic and ability to pivot in a time of crisis. Most family businesses would crumble in this situation, but when you have ambition as big as Texas like April and TJ do, anything is possible."

Located in the heart of the Texas Citrus industry in Mission, Texas, Lone Star Citrus Growers is a vertically integrated grower, packer, marketer, juicer and shipper of world-famous Texas red grapefruit and sweet, juicy oranges.
