Job Description
PURPOSE
The purpose of this role is to design and implement holistic software frameworks for new and existing clients by leveraging the suite of products within Prophet Systems and its subsidiaries. The Implementation Lead will guide the team of implementers in addressing the client’s core operational and reporting needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the following functions, with regard to own and team responsibility:
- Use of specialist product knowledge for efficient system-related design and implementations
- Increase system dependency by way of accurate workflow design and continuous data dependency
- Helps address implementation roadblocks, remove obstacles or other constraints
- Provide high-level guidance and recommendations to clients about implementation and integration procedures to add the greatest value to the client
- Provide an escalation point for issues that may arise throughout the implementation period
- Responsible for following appropriate standards and requirement-gathering processes
- Continuously improve the productivity of the Implementation team in line with internal targets
- Ensure team harmony and cohesiveness
- Increase individual and team productivity year-on-year
- Ongoing skills development of team members
- Uphold company values and be an advocate and example of values to your team and company
- Successful implementation of departmental protocols
- Uphold Company Service Levels in accordance with the SLA (Service Level Agreement)
- Improved quality of support logs based on accuracy and speed of solutions to clients
- Ensure client leadership is actively made aware of strategic system opportunities; the level of training required to further user independence and opportunities/avenues that exist to streamline operational processes
- Take responsibility for ongoing relationship building with the client after services are rendered
- Communicating and collaborating with key stakeholders to engender trust and commitment
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

EXPERIENCE
- Matric
- One-year IT qualification and/or Business qualification
- Experience delivering training and comfortable speaking in front of small and large groups of people
- 3-5 years’ experience in system implementations, project management, multiple technologies, frameworks, processes, applications, or other directly related experience
- 1-3 years’ experience in a supervisory position
- Experience leading technical support teams
- Strong decision-making skills, judgment, and commitment to sound ethics
- Expert knowledge of business systems, procedures, project techniques and practices
- Requires expert analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
